Valerie-Bertinelli

Valerie Anne Bertinelli (born April 14 in 1970) was an American writer and actress. She is a two-time Golden Globe Award recipient. The roles she played in CBS"One Day at a Time's Barbara as well as Hot in Cleveland's Melanie Moretti made her a household star. She started acting as young teens and later on over the years, became an experienced character actor. As a small girl, her connection to the world with the daughter of a producer led to a long-lasting love of the industry. Bertinelli then decided to make acting a profession. Bertinelli entered the television industry in her teens after she graduated from the Tami Lynn School of Artists. In no time confidence, determination and acting skills helped Bertinelli to make a name for herself and become a popular television personality. Her rocky personal life was widely known, along with her battles with substance abuse and various issues. Yet, she fought hard to overcome her challenges and get back to her normal life. She is well-known to the public through the publication of her New York Times best-selling books in which she detailed her challenges during tough times in her life. She is now busy with hosting her cooking show Kids Baking Championship.
